Keisha Shoun has served as vice president of the 4thirTEEN board since it was founded. She’s proud that her 14-year-old daughter Lyla, a Science Hill freshman and lacrosse player, is a member of the teen board.
Keisha is the Director of Public Affairs for the City of Johnson City, overseeing the Communications and Marketing Department while serving as the organization’s liaison to legislative and community partners.
Keisha has a passion for working with young people to help instill a sense of community and civic engagement in next generation leaders. In addition to her role with 4thirTEEN, she started and leads the city’s first ever Junior Council and serves on the Niswonger Children’s Hospital Community Advisory Board.
She holds a degree in mass communications from East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee’s Municipal Management Academy and Leadership TN NEXT.
Keisha grew up in Chattanooga but has called Johnson City home since 1997. She and her family are active members of First Christian Church. She is also mother to 6-year-old Cora, who participates in cheerleading and gymnastics to pass the time until she becomes president of the United States.
Chris Edwards is a Consulting Manager, specializing in Six Sigma continuous improvement, for W.W. Grainger.
Over his career, he’s served as a District Sales Manager, Regional Branch Manager, and Global Strategic Account Executive. He graduated from the University of Alabama and loves staying active and spending time outdoors.
Chris joined 4thirTEEN’s Board of Directors in March 2024.
Chloe graduated from UT-Knoxville with a Master of Science Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Management, Leadership, and Community Practice.
She has over 10 years of experience in nonprofit management and development. Chloe is passionate about ensuring everyone has a voice at the table. She is currently raising her son and two dogs with her husband in Johnson City, TN.
I’m passionate about building connections and fostering community, whether it’s through my role as the Director of First Impressions at Keller Williams Realty or as a leader in my church’s young adult group, “Chosen.”
I am honored to serve as a board member of 4thirteen and am committed to supporting its mission.
My goal is to live a life filled with purpose, love, and adventure, striving to become the person God created me to be while inspiring others to do the same.
